Carefully made of bamboo, this spoon for powdered tea (matcha) is used as part of the Japanese tea ceremony, the chanoyu. It allows for simple and precise dosage of the precious green powder. One and a half chashuku (approx. one levelled teaspoon) for 90 mL of water is the recommended amount for preparing a light and well-balanced matcha.
