| WINNER IN CATEGORY TEA CUP | ||

Daniel Gingras After his studies at Cégep du Vieux-Montréal (1981) and having followed some local master ceramists such as Gilles Derome, Daniel Gingras chose to specialize in Asian ceramic techniques specifically those of Japan. Gingras believes that the pleasure of drinking tea is intimitely linked to the objects that accompany it. The Japanese glaze kudo matto (matt white) of this cup will develop a patina with a myriad of darker veins that grow to tell the story of the cup. |
