Pu Er 2009 Banpen
China

This other of our Camellia Sinensis tea cakes, issued from a unique terroir (Banpen), offers lovely large leaves of a silvery green. The initial vegetal (barley) and refined (incense) aromas give way to a mild and silky liquor. Jade-hued, it is refreshing, sweet, and slightly bitter (endive), with a floral finish. A pleasant and well-balanced tea.
