Miss Pourpre Cocktail

To celebrate their 25th Anniversary, Camellia Sinensis joined up with Claudia Doyon, director of Nacarat, the Queen Elizabeth and co-founder of Amer Kebek. She has devised a cocktail with all local ingredients.

The aromatics of Menaud Gin, honey syrup, and the Rose Pourpre with pleasant acidity give this cocktail a unique vivacity, perfect for the onset of the winter season.

The emulsion carries a full texture that envelops the palate.  Sure to please the taste-buds anytime.

Ingredients (per serving)

  • 1.5 oz of gin Maria ( Menaud Distillery). *
  • 1 oz honey syrup and Rose Pourpre tisane from Camelia Sinensis.
  • 0,75 oz verjuice (or freshly pressed lemon).
  • 1 pinch fleur de sel.
  • 1 dash of Amer Kebek Fleurs (optional).
  • 1 egg white (or vegan emulsifier).

* Note : If the Maria gin is not available, use the classic Menaud gin.

To serve

  • Pour all the ingredients into a shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for around 8 seconds.
  • Add ice to the shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for another  8 seconds.
  • Filter in to a coupette style cocktail glass (martini glass).
  • Decorate with leves and flowers from the Rose Pourpre tisane.

Rose Pourpre with Honey Syrup to be prepared in advance


  • 1\2 cup water on a saucepan.
  • 1\2 cup honey (ideally from the summer, as sweet as possible).
  • 3 teaspoons of Rose Pourpre from Camellia Sinensis.


  1. Water in a pan.
  2. Add honey.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Remove from heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.
  5. Add the Rose Pourpre tisane.
  6. Cold brew in the fridge for 24 hours.
  7. Remove from the fridge and filter.
