The Tea Universe is vast and can be a little intimidating to a newcomer.  With 25 years of research, our team of tasters have cupped many thousands of teas of all styles, grades and origins while sourcing for the company.  Over the years certain teas in the catalogue have become favourites due to their quality and their popularity with our clients.  Here is a list of some of these best sellers to help guide you on your tea journey.

  • Nan Mei Wild Tea Buds : A white tea of great finesse and caffeine-free.  From the wild trees of Yunnan Province, with herbal and citrus notes.
  • Sencha Nagashima organic : A bright Japanese green tea, rich in antioxidants, with notes of fresh herbs and chlorophyl.  A best-seller for many years.
  • Gyokuro Shizuoka organic : Another Japanese classic.  This green tea is from plantations that shade the plants for several weeks before the harvest to enhance the vegetal, marine flavours.
  • Matcha Sora : Matcha has become increasingly popular in recent years.  This grade is perfectly balancedand ideal for culinary explorations. The emulsion develops notes of herbs and seaweed, and the liqueur is lively and invigorating.
  • Long Jing Zhejiang : The most celebrated style of tea in China, this green tea with notes of hazelnut is excellent for concentration.
  • Dong Ding de M. Chang : Taiwan has earned its reputation for wulong.  This one has an explosive floral bouquet with accents of exotic fruit and a slightly milky finish.
  • Bai Hao Jingmai organic: This dark wulong from China is seductive with sweet notes of citrus and lightly spicy finale.
  • Shui Xian Lao Cong : A roasted Chinese wulong from the celebrated Wuyi Mountains with fruity and woodsy notes.  The roasting gives a comforting rusticity.  
  • Tea Studio | Nilgiri Coonoor : A classic Indian black tea to start the day with notes of fruit, spice and malt.
  • Jin Die organic : A Chinese black tea with golden buds, infuses to give a silky liquor with gourmet aromas of honey and cacao.
  • Darjeeling Jungpana First Flush : Cultivated in the foothills of the Himalaya, this Darjeeling (known as the Champagne of black teas) is bright and aromatic, with woodsy notes of nuts and ripe fruit.
  • Pu Er Shou 2015 Bulang : The perfect introduction to aged teas.  The liquor of this 2015 batch offers typical earthy flavours with notes of fresh tobacco and ripe fruit.
  • Chai Camellia :  Often used in a latté, this chai is a typical Indian spiced tea.  The house blend is a classic with a gourmet explosion of fresh spices.
