Nuit Étoilée Shortbread

Dive in to the magic of the holidays with our Nuit Etoilé shortbreads.  Created by Aileen, one of our warehouse employées who has studied in patisserie, this recipe brings together the rich comfort of butter with the notes of fruit, spice, chocolate and tea.  A perfect treat to share with loved ones.

Ingredients  

  • 1 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 5 teaspoons Nuit Étoilée
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2  teaspoon of vanilla extract

Préparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Grind the tea with a mortar and pestle or coffee grinder
  • Blend all ingredients into a dough
  • Let dough cool for 15 minutes in the fridge
  • Cook in the oven on a cookie tray for 10 to 12 minutes
