Tea Based Cocktail: Strawberry Fields
Tea and tisanes have undoubtably made their mark in the kitchen and gastronomical circles. Mixologist Jonathan Homier has developed this festive cocktail that brings together four local companies that share a passion for quality : Camellia Sinensis, the brewery and distillery Oshlag, les Charlatans, and 1642 Tonic. Many of the ingredients are sourced locally too.
Oshlag's Hibiscus Gin is slowly brewed with hibiscus, pink grapefruit and Labrador Tea, this artisanal spirit offers a symphony of floral and spicy flavours that blend perfectly with the Labrador Tea, the grapefruit, ginger and the strawberry and Sichuan pepper syrup.
