This Calabash is the creation of the Quebec ceramist Makiko.
The calabash is the fruit shell from which mate is traditionally consumed. Although different from that original form, this will win you over with its resilience and stability.
The traditional craft aspect of these calabashes makes them all unique. This why the colour gradients and volume may vary from one to another. Evidence of a work made by hand!
