Porcelain

Using a wood-fired kiln, Julie Lavoie, ceramist, creates exquisite porcelain, both rich and rustic with its flames and the delicate imprint of cinders. The result: a rich "living white" effect, both precious and pure in its own way.

The craqueled finish has the benefit of evolving with use as the tannins permeate it little by little, also enriching its colour.

The artisanal aspect of these chawans makes each one unique. Naturally shapes and colour gradients will vary from one piece to another. The true beauty of hand crafted authenticity.
