The springtime, First Flush leaves of this black tea are from the Risheehat garden in Darjeeling (India). This valley is known for its steep sides and rich, fertile soils. This year’s selection is from classic, heritage plants in the highest section of the garden.
The liquor gives off a sweet, charming perfume. The liquor is frank with vegetal notes (green wood), citrus zeste and delicate tannic notes of ginger.

A First Flush tea, rich and sophisticated, from the north of Darjeeling (India). Tukdah is a one of the region’s most famous gardens and has a splendid view of the Himalayan range. This batch is produced with great care using leaves from the T78 modern cultivar.
This early spring batch from the classic plants of Goomtee garden are an even mix of leaves and silvery buds. Founded near the end of the 19th Century they have been making quality tea for over a century.
This lot of First Flush black tea come from the highest sections of the Namring garden known as Upper Namring, in Darjeeling. One of the region’s earliest plantings this garden was founded in around 1855. This ‘AV2' modern cultivar has been transformed in the popular ‘Moonlight’ style, lightly rolled without pressure leaving an open leaf and then very lightly oxidized.
