Darjeeling First Flush Gopaldhara
Lot DJ-13
This small lot of Indian black tea from the Gopaldhara garden in Darjeeling comes from a high-altitude section of the plantation. That section is planted with a mix of cultivars giving a distinct quality to the taste.
The liquor, round and saline, boasts an aromatic richness oscillating between floral and vegetal notes (celery) and the more gourmet notes of walnut and muscatel. A slightly mineral tea with a long lasting impression in the mouth.
Infusion between 90 and 95 degrees is advised to savour the freshly picked first flush Darjeeling in all its greenness.
