Gyokuro Ujicha

Product code: CSTV-214

Meticulous care is taken at every stage in the production of this style of Japanese green tea, known as "precious dew". Three weeks before the harvest, shades filtering up to 90% of the rays of the sun are placed over the tea bushes to develop what is commonly known as "the taste of shade". This taste is the result of an increase in chlorophyll and amino acids, as well as a reduction in tannins caused by the reduction of photosynthesis.

The result is a smooth, deep, highly complex and aromatic tea. The infusion is suave (Umami), velvety and lime green in colour with a slight haze. With its delicate scents of seaweed (chlorophyll), watercress and steamed vegetables (broccoli), this tea with its fine, deep emerald green leaves will delight you with its exquisite roundness, its slightly mineral edge and its tangy finish with a subtle hint of raspberry.

A beautifully crafted tea that transports you with every sip.
