There are a rare few adamant potters in Tokoname that still insist on mastering every step of the artisanal process, taking it as far as making their own clay. Yamada is one of these potters.
A great find this spring, a Kabusecha style green tea from the Miyazaki region.
Its fine, shiny leaves make a rich cup with very smooth texture. The dense body, full of green vegetables aromas, comes with broth-like undertones and delicate flowery scents.
Spring 2020 still has some nice surprises in store for us.
