Product code: CSTVI-208

Without venturing far into Laos we find farmers producing tea using the ancestral methods of Yunnan. In Phong Sali, producers work their teas with great care, rivaling (and even occasionally surpassing) the quality those of their famous neighbors… often at much lower prices.

This 2018 Laos Pu er Phong Sali is of a rare confection in the world of Pu er. Harvested on old trees (up to 200 years), its leaves and numerous silvery buds steep into a wonderful clean brew.

True artisanal work, this tea reveals very complex aromas mixing herbaceous notes (sweet herbs, maple leaves) with nuances of ripe fruits and pastries. Its finish leaves a warm mineral sensation.
