Pu er Sheng 1995 Hong He Zhou

Product code: CSTVI-134

A few years ago we received a very small and memorable batch of this tea. Sneakily we tucked some away to carefully age for a later date! All lovers of Pu Er Sheng will appreciate this limited vintage, in its prime quality phase (more than 25 years).  Certainly among the top Sheng we have in our catalogue at present.

A mixture of large dark leaves with grey flashes makes up this loose leaf tea. On rinsing, the leaves fill the air with undergrowth and leather fragrances. The liquor is silky, rich with earthy and vegetal nuances (lichen). Its finish leaves that pleasant, trademark mineral sensation in the mouth which deepens with each sip.
