From an organic culture on Kyushu Island, this tea is produced by pan-fried method (kamairi), instead of the conventional Japanese method of steaming. This style of transformation gives a particular balance between bitterness and sweetness, exempt from the typical astringency found in Sencha style teas.
Sencha Nagashima Organic (box of 50 teabags in individual envelopes)
This high fired Japanese Sencha has dark glossy leaves and gives a clear light yellow liquor, full and sweet, vegetal and zesty. Roasted and cereal notes develop into a fresh floral finish.
All our teabags are made of corn starch derived materials. They contain no nylon or other harmful components.
The pyramid form liberates the leaves' rich flavours revealing the freshness of the tea. Each pack contains 50 individually wrapped teabags.
Contains a total of 150g of tea.
