Sencha Yamakai

Product code: CSTV-204

This Japanese green tea is made with the Yamabuki cultivar in Shizuoka Prefecture, famous for its Sencha.  The careful transformation by producer Mr.Oota creates beautiful deep green, needle-shaped leaves.

On infusion the liquor is almost creamy in texture, bright yellow with a frank, sweet and vegetal flavour.  Floral and saline notes give this tea a freshness in the mouth.   There are moments of berries as the flavour fades.

An impressive blend of delicate and vigorous.
