This glass gaiwan enables the appreciation of the hidden side of of infusing tea. Its smooth sides ensure a comfortable grip and a neutral infusion; it can accommodate all families of tea. This small, covered cup and saucer, is an instrument of choice especially for infusing teas with large leaves. The tea leaves are infused directly in the cup and the lid is used to hold back the leaves when it is time to stop the infusion. The gaiwan is very good for multiple infusions, concentrating their aromas and flavours in each cup.
Tea Studio | Nilgiri Yin Zhen
Here is a white tea produced in the Chinese style of Yin Zhen created at the Tea Studio, an experimental tea factory in the Nilgiri mountains (India) focussed on the artisanal creation of new teas. We brought our expertise to propel this innovative project managed entirely by a local team of women. An inspiring design instilled with the same values as our tea houses.
This white tea, consisting of fine green needles with silvery highlights, offers a coppery coloured liquor, textured with pleasant herbaceous (straw, tobacco) and woody aromas. It also sports delicious flavour points of hazelnut and cocoa. Its finish, soft and floral, seducing just as much as it comforts!
- Cultivar: Assamica
- Producer: Mme Khanna
- Altitude: 1850m

This Bai Mu Dan style white tea is composed of beautifully dried large leaves in hues of yellow and soft green.
Worthy of the expertise of Mr. He, this superb Chinese white tea is of uniform, smooth and fine buds.
Cultivated organically and produced as a traditional Yin Zhen, but coming from a wilder and higher altitude terroir in the province of Guizhou. This Chinese white tea, made purely of downy buds, is instantly visually pleasing.
