Jin Shuan

Produced in Taiwan, Jin Shuan is the original “cream wulong”. This cultivar is single handedly responsible for the explosion of milk additives on today’s tea markets. Enjoyed by Taiwanese for its creamy texture and buttery aromas, we offer it here in its simplest form, void of any augmented flavours. You’ll find refreshing flowery notes (lily, dandelions) alongside vanilla overtones and, perhaps, a subtle spicy finish (cinnamon, nutmeg). All famously coated in this thick and syrupy texture.

Li Shan

This high mountain wulong tea was harvested from Mr. Chang Fu Chin’s garden, located on the slopes of the ‘Pear Mountain' (Li Shan) at over 2000 m. Its beautiful leaves, exploding with aromatic oils, deliver a supple and vegetal liquor, enhanced by a velvety texture and charming flowery aromas. Its sweet and lingering finish aptly completes the fascinating flavour profile of this grand cru !

Maple Tea

Creating a 100% pure and authentic maple tea was a challenge we were definitely up for!

Meghalaya Lakyrsiew

From the neighbouring region of Assam, Meghalaya, comes this aesthetic tea with long leaves combined with intoxicating  coppery buds. Its liquor is round and offers a well-balanced tannic structure highlighted by its powdery texture reminiscent of cocoa. Its woody and caramelized notes nuanced by fine floral accents support its finish - both soft, and full of freshness.

Mi Xiang Hong Cha

Here's a nice find from Hugo that is sure to appeal! The leaves of this twisted black tea come from Ali Shan. As the name suggests (literally black tea with honey aroma), generous warm aromas of honey, ripe fruit and flowers emanate from the infusion. Its  liquor has a sweetness of baked pastry with notes from biscuit to molasses and cinnamon. What a treat !

Mucha Tie Guan Yin (roasted)

Produced in the Mucha region, this high grade of Taiwanese Tie Guan Yin was entered into competitions by its producer. Fragrances of coffee, candied fruit and Turkish apricots. The remarkable lingering aftertaste makes this an exceptional tea.

Mucha Tie Guan Yin 1994

Produced in Mucha near the capital of Taiwan, this tea has typically been cooked 60 hours before being aged for over 20 years. These two processes are involved in changing the color of the leaves and the liquor (reddish brown), and for the transformation of the characteristic aromas. Woody notes (bark), fruit (dried fruit) and roasted/toasted (tobacco, toast) alternate to a mineral and sweet finish.

Ombrelle de Papier

Exuberant, intoxicating, it stays in your mouth like a happy song that does not want to leave. Composed of white tea with fresh flavors of pineapple and rhubarb, it sharpens the mind like a first day of spring.

One Night in Rio !

Coconut and pineapple feature in this mellow and tropical fusion of fragrances. The warm malty notes of the Indian black tea will enhance those sultry summer nights. Enjoy the fireworks!

Pinglin Bao Zhong

Situated in the north of the island, to the south of the capital, the town of Pinglin remains true to the traditional style of "Bao Zhong" with the leaves rolled lengthways into twists. Velvety and slightly saline, the liquor is vegetal (spinach) enhanced with accents of tomatoes and spices. The evolution of flavours and mouthfeel is dynamic with a persistent finish refined with citrus (clementine) and flowers.

Promenade in Florence Organic

For lovers of citrus teas - perhaps a distant cousin to Earl Gray - with its delicious slices of orange peel. Its vibrant acidity and briskness are enhanced by the pleasant tannins found in the mixture of black and green teas. A classic for any day of the week!

Shan Lin Xi

Initial impression from this taiwanese highland wulong is an aroma of ground-cherry and wheat-grass which evolves into fresh vanilla and flowers. Rich creamy texture with sweet final notes of coconut.

Si Ji Chun

Brought back from the mountains in Nantou region (Taiwan), this pearl shaped green wulong is one of today’s most popular industry standards. Highly polyvalent and adaptive cultivar, the Si Ji Chun produces intense aromas whether it is grown in low or high altitude. It is no surprise to find it today in gardens all over the world. Much appreciated from daily consumers for its low caffeine levels and its generous flowery bouquet (lilac, freesia), this particular wulong easily steeps and resteeps as the day goes by.
