Sencha Saitama

Here is a Sencha from our producer of Temomicha from the prefecture of Saitama. From these fine leaves transformed in the style "chumushi" is obtained an opaque liquor, of a deep and luminous green. Its pleasant viscosity is doubled with delicious vegetable, cereal (bran) and fruity notes. A small lot to discover  before it's too late!

Sencha Yame Organic

This organic Sencha green tea comes from Mr. Iguchi Yozoru’s gardens in Kurogi village, near Yame. Taste wise, it presents the typical elegance of Kyushu Island’s (south of Japan) steamed teas.

Kabusecha Takamado

Grown and processed in the region of Uji in Japan, this "shade-tea" is of great finesse. Shade structures which block up to 70% of the light are placed over the tea plants two weeks before harvest in order to soften the leaves and increase the chlorophyll concentration.

Sencha Tsukigase Organic

This Sencha, crafted by one of our favorite producers in Nara, is composed of a diverse mix of leaves and yellowish stems.

Bancha Shizuoka

A flat-leaf Japanese green tea from the region of Shizuoka. Contains very little caffeine. Gives a sweet liquor with very little astrincency.

Gyokuro Okabe

Here is a "Precious Dew"  from the Shizuoka region produced from the Samidori cultivar, often used to make Gyokuro and Matcha.

Sencha Koshun Organic

This Sencha from Shizuoka region comes from a rare cultivar called Koshun and is known for its intense floral bouquet.

Brisk and bold, this tea carries in the mouth a strong vegetal taste with a slight bitterness and a pleasant floral finish, it is an excellent daily companion.

Kamairicha Organic

From an organic culture on Kyushu Island, this tea is produced by pan-fried method (kamairi), instead of the conventional Japanese method of steaming. This style of transformation gives a particular balance between bitterness and sweetness, exempt from the typical astringency found in Sencha style teas. 

Sencha Nagashima Organic

This Sencha green tea is a must in our selection, and also one of our best sellers.

Produced by the Morishita brothers at Isagawa tea farming cooperative in Shizuoka, it sets high the Japanese standards for highly drinkable, daily type green teas. 

Lively in taste and showcasing the intense herbal aromas expected from this tea family, this tea also boasts distinct fruity notes as its signature style. A warm, nutty finish rounds up its very complete profile.
