Sencha Yame Organic

This organic Sencha green tea comes from Mr. Iguchi Yozoru’s gardens in Kurogi village, near Yame. Taste wise, it presents the typical elegance of Kyushu Island’s (south of Japan) steamed teas.

Guei Fei

Harvested in the vicinity of Dong Ding, this wulong tea benefits from the presence of Jacobiasca formosana in the tea gardens, a small leafhopper that sparks a hormonal reaction in the plant by biting its leaves.

Li Shan

This high mountain wulong tea was harvested from Mr. Chang Fu Chin’s garden, located on the slopes of the ‘Pear Mountain' (Li Shan) at over 2000 m. Mucha Tie Guan Yin (roasted)

Produced in the Mucha region, this high grade of Taiwanese Tie Guan Yin was entered into competitions by its producer. Fragrances of coffee, candied fruit and Turkish apricots. The remarkable lingering aftertaste makes this an exceptional tea.

Nepal autumnal Jun Chiyabari Organic

From magnificent gardens, only a short distance from Darjeeling, the delicate leaves and golden buds of this fall lot have been transformed with care and expertise. The resulting liquor is sweet and light, displaying its rich floral perfumes, honey and subtle fruity (apple) and chocolate accents. Simply exquisite!

Our 2019 Zhengwan Sheng Pu er comes from a young organically certified garden as part of a new social project in Yunnan, regrouping farmers from more than 10 minorities among neighbouring villages.

Meghalaya Lakyrsiew Autumnal

From the neighbouring region of Assam, Meghalaya, comes this aesthetic tea with long leaves combined with intoxicating  coppery buds. Its liquor is round and offers a well-balanced tannic structure highlighted by its powdery texture reminiscent of cocoa. Its woody and caramelized notes nuanced by fine floral accents support its finish - both soft, and full of freshness.

Darjeeling autumnal Arya Organic

From Arya Tea Estate, a relatively small garden in Darjeeling’s East Valley, comes this organic black tea made from fall harvested leaves.

Dong Ding Mr. Chang

Over the years, wulongs from Dong Ding Mountain have made quite a name for themselves. Grown in high-altitude, shorter daylight and greater temperature variations concentrate the aromatic oils in the slow budding leaves. They are well known amongst tea enthusiasts for their creamy texture and buttery taste.

Pinglin Bao Zhong

Situated in the north of the island, to the south of the capital, the town of Pinglin remains true to the traditional style of "Bao Zhong" with the leaves rolled lengthways into twists. Velvety and slightly saline, the liquor is vegetal (spinach) enhanced with accents of tomatoes and spices. The evolution of flavours and mouthfeel is dynamic with a persistent finish refined with citrus (clementine) and flowers.

Gunpowder Organic

Well-known for its strong taste, Gunpowder green tea has long dominated the Chinese export market. Omnipresent in Maghreb (most of all in Morocco), it has been used to prepare the famous mint tea for more than two centuries. 

Our Gunpowder comes from organic culture in Hunan province (China). Its bold green taste bears the expected bitterness of the style.

It can be drunk as is for its intense vitality or with fresh mint leaves for a smoother moment.

We are proud to offer you this lot that has received an Honourable Mention in at the annual Luku competition. This lot was ranked in the top 10 teas  of 6000. Its golden liqueur is sweet and full, combined with its slightly acidulous notes. Sweet hints of pineapple and candied fruit, oatmeal cookies and almond butter. The whole experience is supported by well integrated tannins and a bright briskness. This masterpiece builds towards a long finale where floral and fruity accents dominate. A gem for the lucky few!

Dong Ding Ms. Lin (Charcoal Roast)

From the famous mountain Dong Ding and cooked in the traditional way on charcoal, this tea has a nice mix of dark leaves. Its fragrance is rich and diverse and evokes the typical aromatic complexity of wulong, having notes that span toasted grains to flowers. Its liquor is full and soft, and the fruity finish (plum) is sweet and spicy.

This Corean tea is entirely picked and transformed by hand. The result is of a rare complexity: sweet scents of green peas, kombu seaweed and raisins; body dominated by herbal aromas with hints of chestnuts and peat; lightly tart and marine-like finish with fruity and floral undertones.

Tan Huong

This Vietnamese green tea comes from a small farming cooperative in Thai Nguyen region (north of Hanoi) where tea production is run by women.

In these poor rural regions, families who own small tea gardens regroup their efforts to help each other. Mme Hiep, head of the farming cooperative, coordinates everything to ensure good results.

Authentic and robust, the Tan Huong resembles a trip through the mountains of Vietnam. Grown without the use of chemical pesticides, it is as charmingly rustic, as the farmers who produce it.

From the mountain of Ali Shan, Taiwan, this high altitude wulong is one of our grand classics. A sweet and fruity liquor has notes of coconut strong floral aroma with an edge of vanilla.

Jin Shuan

Produced in Taiwan, Jin Shuan is the original “cream wulong”. This cultivar is single handedly responsible for the explosion of milk additives on today’s tea markets. Enjoyed by Taiwanese for its creamy texture and buttery aromas, we offer it here in its simplest form, void of any augmented flavours. Du Yun Hong Cha

Thanks to our passionate Guizhou producers, we have a new Chinese black tea on the menu. Using a white tea cultivar (Fuding Da Bai), the liquor is textured, sweet with a slightly acid character. The woody and malty notes resulting from the oxidation are enhanced with aerial, floral and spicy dimensions. Huiming Jingning Bai Organic

Our producer of Jingning (Zhejiang) never disappoints and this tea is no different.  Produced from a wild and local plant, it is both a feast for the eyes and taste. Once infused, the liqueur is surprisingly clear, vibrant, full, fat and overpowered by gourmet vegetal notes (asparagus with butter).  This balanced and refined tea is enhanced by a fresh and floral final evoking May lilacs.
