Mei Zhan Zhen

From the summit of Mount Zhenghe in Fujian (China), the long golden buds of this black tea are seductive simply from the chocolaty smell of the dry leaves! Once infused, they deploy intoxicating scents of lavender, lemon grass and hemlock. The liquor is rich, velvety and offers nuances of very refined pastries. A glorious tea, generous and unforgettable!

Sun Moon Lake T-18

Here is a rare black tea from Taiwan, made using the well known T-18 cultivar which is derived from a cross between a large leafed tea from Burma (Ashamu) and a wild tea tree from southern Taiwan. Infused, its graceful leaves emanate smooth aromas of wintergreen, malt and tobacco. Lightly mentholated and generously fruity with notes of prune and raisin, its liquor is round, full and silky. A perfect tea for those special mornings.

Chuan Hong

Here is a very nice aromatic black tea from Sichuan composed of fine golden buds. Its liquor, supple and full, has stunning floral (peony) and fruity aromas, supported by its gourmet (buckwheat honey) and resinous character. A powerful and elegant tea which gently unfolds its long sweet finish.

Darjeeling 1st Flush Thurbo

This world class tea garden bestows upon us this heavenly clonal First Flush delight. This lot, composed of large leaves and curled buds, is typical of modern aesthetics. It’s light and spacious liquor ranges from scents of herbs and flowers (wild spring flowers) to supple notes of peach and muscatel. A perfect example of pure AV2 cultivar and the glory of young tea plants in the Himalayan soil.

Darjeeling Avongrove organic

This white tea is the result of a unique combination of a harvest from assamica tea plants from Darjeeling, and the expertise of Mr Subba, manager of the garden. Silky buds offer a heady brew with fragrances of flowers and cocoa. Its brilliant light yellow liquid, finely tart, enhances its grassy character (dry straw, sorrel) with generous fruity notes. Subtle notes of malt and hazelnut support the finish of this substantial and complex tea. a Totally smooth experience!

Java Purbasari

Many years have passed since we last sold an Indonesian import on our menu; these silky white buds are produced in the Purbasari region of Java Island.

Jingning Yin Zhen Organic

Worthy of the expertise of Mr He, this superb white tea is of uniform, smooth and fine buds. The infusion offers rich flavors of oats, fruit (ripe banana) and flowers, nuanced in the mouth by a peppery accent. Its rosy liquor is sweet, oily and full. Well balanced, it evolves to a minty and thirst quenching finish. To be savoured in tranquillity!

Nadeshiko organic

This innovation from Japan features a tea from a controlled fermentation with an assorted mix of fine khaki leaves. Its dark red liqueur is rich and full, with powerful aromas of dried fruit, bark and roasted cereal. Hints of spices (vanilla) and sugar embellish the flavours of this surprising (and difficult to classify) tea: Pu Er or black tea ?!
