Fairtrade

Kabusecha Takamado

Grown and processed in the region of Uji in Japan, this "shade-tea" is of great finesse. Shade structures which block up to 70% of the light are placed over the tea plants two weeks before harvest in order to soften the leaves and increase the chlorophyll concentration.

Wintergreen (20g Pack)

In spite of the fact that this small robust indigenous plant of Quebec (gaulthérie couchée) is not related to tea, its English name, Wintergreen, appropriately evokes the refreshing effect that it can bring to different types of inflammations (fevers, joint pains). In infusion, its liquor, light and sweet, is strongly marked by the essential oil it carries (methyl salicylate) with its pronounced and characteristic taste, reminding of its use in muscle balms.
