This Kukicha style tea was created following the old Japanese tradition where stems and stalks from late bush harvests are roasted in preparation for winter. Its taste is exceptionally sweet, with notes of hazelnuts, brown sugar and roasted pecans. Kukicha tea also has the advantage of being naturally low in caffeine.
This teapot was designed by the Camellia Sinensis team in partnership with a ceramics workshop in Taiwan. Made of porcelain, this glossy teapot is an ideal volume for 2 people. The fine stainless steel filter permits infusions different families of tea. Its deep basket gives the option to make a good cup of tea for one person without using the full volume of the teapot.
