Sencha Tsukigase Organic
This Sencha, crafted by one of our favorite producers in Nara, is composed of a diverse mix of leaves and yellowish stems.
In Japanese, Yunomi simply means a "cup for tea". The people are fond of green tea, the cups have been thought out to optimize tasting this tea family though are still beneficial for other teas.
In fact, in addition to being ergonomic, the elongated shape helps keep the tea hot longer.
With easy to appreciate aesthetic details, the country of origin of this object is revealed at first sight.

Using a wood-fired kiln, Julie Lavoie, ceramist, creates exquisite porcelain, both rich and rustic with its flames and the delicate imprint of cinders. The result: a rich "living white" effect, both precious and pure in its own way.
This cup was designed by the Camellia Sinensis team in partnership with a ceramic workshop in Taiwan. Made of porcelain, the pure white glazed interior finish is perfect to enhance the colour of the liquor of either an entire gaiwan infuson or a shared teapot. An elegant everyday accessory with its pleasing curves and practical size.
